World Action Pistol Championships – Day 3
SSAA Queensland in New Zealand
Stormy conditions threatened to disrupt the competition today, but the show went on largely without a hitch. Our New Zealand hosts at Hamilton Pistol Club have done an outstanding job of keeping things running smoothly, and it seems the only thing that could possibly go wrong is the weather.
Impressive results continue to roll in as the competition heats up. Four perfect scores were recorded on Barricade, while Queensland’s own Clive Dingle and Glen Ayre set a high standard on Mover with scores of 471-25 and 470-20, respectively. To show the calibre of competition, there were so many perfect scores on Falling Plates that they don’t even fit on the first page of the results sheet – among them Peter Bergersen, Daniel Fitzpatrick, Ryan McQuilty, and Glen Ayre, once again.

The Queensland team of Danny Fitzpatrick, Peter Bergersen, Glen Ayer, Ryan McQuilty, Clive Dingle, and Shane McEwen continue to make their mark in New Zealand.
Tomorrow, all eyes will be on the Mover stage as the top shooters from the USA take their turn and look to secure the World Championship title.

The USA sent over their best and brightest in hopes of claiming the World Championship title. Tomorrow’s Mover stage might help them seal the deal. This shooter’s bullet looks to be right on target. Stay tuned.
