Deporte Mutual Public Liability Protection

Public Liability Insurance for our sport has become increasingly difficult to obtain. SSAA (Qld.), in conjunction with Steadfast ART Limited, commenced a Discretionary Mutual Fund (DMF) in April 2023 to ensure Queensland members are protected from the uncertainty and ever-increasing costs of obtaining public liability now and in the future.

Deporte Mutual Firearms Protection

SSAA (Qld.) introduced Deporte Mutual Firearms Protection in January 2024, Queensland members can purchase firearms protection for $35.00 for one year valid from the date of purchase for coverage of up to $25,000 worth of firearms registered to your firearms licence and fixed accessories correctly fitted to your firearm – such as scopes and slings, both at home and whilst in use. Deporte Mutual will cover the member during the period of protection for theft, accidental loss or accidental damage to protected equipment in accordance with the basis of settlement up to a maximum value of $25,000. Deporte Mutual Firearms Protection also covers you when travelling overseas for up to 28 days.

Your membership to SSAA Queensland is a prerequisite for purchasing Deporte Mutual Firearms Protection.

The Member must remain financial with SSAA Queensland at all times for Deporte Mutual Firearms Protection to be valid.
