No to QHS

Members of SSAA Inc’s Adelaide-registered Queensland Hunting and Shooting (QHS) Ltd are not welcome at SSAA Queensland’s state ranges.

When a member has deliberately joined Queensland Hunting and Shooting (QHS), they will not be offered any form of range attendance, even as a visitor, and will be asked to leave. 

QHS has been formed by SSAA Inc to deliberately ‘white ant’ your Association and attempt to steal members and finances. 

QHS does not offer a ‘genuine reason’ to hold a firearm licence in Queensland and has been forced to refund members who have been tricked into believing they were renewing their SSAA Queensland membership by joining it or a SSAA Queensland associated club. 

All SSAA Queensland branches and clubs are encouraged to reject those who attempt to sign in with QHS membership. We encourage branches to closely inspect membership cards to ensure shooters are actually one of our members. 

We are exploring legal actions against SSAA Inc’s interference in our state matters and will continue to fight for our 80,000+ loyal members to protect them from any group that tries to take advantage of them.
