Classic Arms & Collectables Auction

Military Lane is a firearms dealership owned by Matt Thomas. It is based in Melbourne, Australia, where it has been supplying online firearms to its customers for nearly 10 years and has grown a trusted reputation. The dealership first started out primarily supplying Lithgow SMLEs, Allied firearms and militaria and has since transformed into Australia’s premier arms auction house.

Military Lane is currently running its largest arms auction ever, with more than 740 lots in the one jam-packed day and you can find the auction live via the www.militarylane.com.au website, where you can register and bid on any lot in the auction in the lead up to the final auction day.
There are many lots coming from several major collections around Australia, with a number of rare and limited items that have not been available to the public for decades.

If you spoil yourself and look through the online catalogue while having a nice sip of coffee or tea, you will find the only known antique Howdah double barrel pistol with a bespoke stock and, with provenance, a rare Sharps 1877 rifle personally owned by the famous US sharpshooter and author Elmer Keith. There is also a historically significant Colonial Vic Police issued Spencer carbine that is the second lowest serial number and one of the few Spencer brought out to Melbourne in 1864. For those who have a love affair with collecting military rifles, you will find a rare German anti-tank GRB39 rifle as well as a British/Australian Boys Mk.1 anti-tank gun – both of which are Category B firearms and able to be owned by most shooters.
Items in the auction include:

Early Western Firearms
Military Firearms
Sporting Rifles & Shotguns
Target Shooting Firearms
High-End Shotguns
Rare Colts, Winchesters, Militaria, Exempt Firearms, Ordnance, and much, much more.
