2025 SSAA Qld Fly Shoot Championship

4th – 6th July 2025

Proudly hosted by SSAA Innisfail Branch Inc. Murdering Point Rifle Range, 919 Murdering Point Road, Kurrimine Beach, QLD.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL competitions to be shot as per current SSAA Rules.

“All adult competitors at SSAA QLD or SSAA National competitions held in Queensland must have the appropriate licence from their State/Territory for the class of firearms being contested.”

Due to safety concerns; No domestic animals are allowed on the range property unless written permission is obtained from the property owner and property lessee.

SSAA Membership Card and Firearms Licence must be presented each day.

PROGRAM OF EVENTS
Weigh in at 7:30 am, Competition starts at 8:00 am Sat/ Sun.
This is a National Registered match, run in accordance with the Fly Shoot National Rule book current at the time of the event.

NOMINATION FEES: (Practice Day included) Numbers are limited
Adults $70 per Class, 2 Classes $120, All 3 Classes $170, Juniors (Under 18) ½ Price
Payments for nominations accepted by cash or EFTPOS on the day

MEDALS AND AWARDS
Medals and Awards that are applicable will be as per the SSAA Fly Shoot National Rulebook, current at the time of the competition.

Catering:
BBQ Lunch is included in the nomination fee for all competitors.
Endless Tea/ Coffee provided Sat/ Sun.
BBQ Lunch (Burger and Soft Drink) is available for non-competitors at a cost of $15 per day.
Onsite Camping: Camping is available at the Range for SSAA Members. Camp Kitchen and Shower / Toilet facilities available. Non-Powered Site: $10 per night

SSAA Queensland event cancellation/Postponement Policy
An event may be postponed or cancelled at any time by SSAA (Qld.) Inc. SSAA Queensland and SSAA Innisfail Branch will not be liable for reimbursement to competitors for any costs associated with a postponed or cancelled SSAA Queensland event for any reason.

Friday 4th July 2025 – PRACTICE & Flag Setup
Saturday 5th July 2025 – LG/ HG 500m Fly
Sunday 6th July 2025 – Rimfire 200yd Fly Shoot
